So I've been known to try things that are perhaps a bit beyond my scope of knowlegde and general accessed grasp but that's what keeps me dreaming. Seems like everytime I run up against a project that scares me, somebody comes along and holds may hand long enough for me to gain the confidence to charge ahead. That confidence is usually just enough knowledge to render me dangerous. Here's my latest insanity.
 








STRAIGHTENING OUT THE HOUSE AND HOOKING UP THE BARN

OK, so this led to that and now I'm trying to raise a 100 year old barn and put a 4 car garage below it. (As usual, doing as much as I can myself.

Step one. Tell the only guys who acutally came by and gave me an estimate to go ahead an lift the barn!

Step Two: Ask my next door neighbor Joe if I can borrow a back-hoe. "course, Joe isn't going to let me touch the thing but he is nice enough to help out the "crazy" neighbor next door...
